Shame! Police Corporal, Five Others Arrested For Kidnapping In Calabar

                     (NAN)Police raid a kidnappers' den and also rescued a Lebanese.

About three weeks ago, a man was abducted and disposed of N600,000 by gun men. He was afterwards dumped in a location in Calabar.
According to Punch report the man sighted the vehicle which was used by the kidnappers and alerted the police who immediately trailed the gun man and stormed their den.
During a raid at the kidnappers den, a Lebanese who was never reported to be kidnapped was rescued by the police.
Six suspects were also arrested and are being interrogated as investigations continue.  
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Hogan Bassey, confirmed to Punch that six persons were currently being investigated. “Six persons are being investigated. On Thursday we will address the press on the matter,” Bassey said.
