Pensioner Chops Off Penis After Wife Leaves Him For Younger Man

Turgut Oymen, 73, was left devastated after his lifelong sweetheart, Nese, left him for a young doctor on the eve of their golden wedding anniversary. In anger, the heartbroken pensioner chopped off his penis and threw it in a river.While Nese, 70, was 550 miles away in Istanbul, Turkey, she called Turgut to say she had fallen in love with a 55-year-old doctor, and had decided to stay in the city.

A 32-year-old man, Chinedu Em­manuel Nnalue is now cooling his heels behind bars follow­ing his arrest by detectives of the criminal investigation department in the Anambra State police command for allegedly macheting his 59-year-old father, Nwafor Nnalue to death.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma, who confirmed the develop­ment, disclosed that the suspect equally cut the deceased’s hands and legs while muti­lating the body. Saturday Sun gathered that the late Nwafor Nnalue was living in Damaturu, Yobe State with his family until they were forced to relocate to Anambra State as a result of the Boko Haram insur­gency. It was also learnt that the suspect, Chinedu was brought up in Yobe State before he travelled to South Africa and re­turned to join his family in the state where he eventually married an indigene. More than one week after air bombardment and ground tactical operations commenced deep inside the dreaded Sambisa forest, the nation’s Special Forces have failed to locate the more than 200 students kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents on April 14, 2014, from the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State.

General Muhammed Buhari, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate in the 2015 presidential election, on Tuesday failed to attend the presidential rally organised by APC Diaspora Community in the United Kingdom.

Buhari arrived in London last Thursday and was scheduled to meet with the Nigerian community, APC supporters in UK and give a talk later in the week at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of Public Affairs.

Politicians driving up exchange rate, say Operators

       

Bureau De Change Operators (BDC) in Abuja have attributed the high demand for dollars by Nigerians, especially politicians, to the cause of the high exchange rate witnessed in the country.

A cross section of the operators, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday, said politics was the major cause of the high demand.
