A heartless father, Benedict Ikazegbe, has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly raping his three young daughters to take vengeance on his wife for leaving him.
According to reports, Ikazegbe was so angry that his wife left him for another man and he took out his anger on the innocent children whose ages were said to be between seven and 12, raping them almost on a daily basis while threatening to kill them if they should ever divulge the secret to anyone. But Ikazegbe was nabbed after one of his daughters summoned courage and confided in a neighbour who contacted the children mother.
The woman was said to have reported the matter to the police who interviewed the girls and they all confessed that their father had been sleeping with them since their mother moved out of the house two years ago.
In his confessional statement, Ikazegbe told investigators that he raped his daughters because his wife left him and he didn't have a woman with whom to have sex.
