Imo 'Savior': Okorocha's free education is real, its 'insane' to deny it — Students

Governor Rochas Okorocha says students are pushed to crime for lack of money
Students in Imo have spoken out against claims in some quarters that Governor Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha's free education policy in Imo state is a ruse.
According to the students, it is 'unbelievably abnormal' and insane to lie about the policy which they claim to have benefitted from.
During a solidarity visit to the state's Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, the students, under the umbrella of the Law Students Association, said Imo indigenes have never benefitted from the dividends of democracy as they are under the present government. Continue...

President of the Association, Mr. Amandi Franklin, a 500 level Law Student at the Imo State University (IMSU), hailed Okorocha's leadership qualities, especially as shown in the area of free and qualitative education.
“It is unbelievably abnormal for anyone to peddle the wicked lies that there is no free education in Imo State owned tertiary institutions," Franklin said.
"I am a final year law Student of Imo State University and I know that I paid school fees under Ikedi Ohakim’s regime before the emergence of Owelle Rochas Okorocha-led Rescue Mission Government
Franklin dismissed the "propaganda" against the unique policy.
"We have seen the mischievous propaganda material being circulated around.
"We have challenged them to come out and face the students who are the ultimate beneficiaries. I have heard some of them shamelessly make illogical argument.
"I can only say that this is nothing but wicked and insane.”
The students assured Madumere and his principal of their support.
Nigeria Newspoint reports that they also recognized Okorocha as the as “the All Time Most Outstanding Deputy Governor” for his humility, working relationship and sterling leadership qualities.
Madumere thanked the students and promised to deliver their message to the governor.
