Stephen Keshi describes Ghana Black Stars as ''women'', saying ''if you promise a lady and you don't do it, she becomes angry.''
October 16 marked the end of the road for Stephen Keshi with the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles after poor runs in the AFCON 2015 qualifiers.  More after the cut...

52 year-old Stephen Keshi was quoted by Ghanaian media as saying that he would love to coach the Ghanaian national team
Speaking to a local radio station, Happy FM, the big boss said:"...Of course I will like to coach Black Stars. I will like to manage this team. Ghana is going to be like my baby."
"I will do my ultimate best to make sure Ghana comes to the elite. I don't want to speculate anything. If anything comes out of the FA - seriously - if the FA want this to happen, I will like to coach this team."
Keshi also defended some Black Stars players who were tagged"stubborn" and ''egoistic'', and difficult to manage after the fallout with former coach Kwesi Appiah
"The players are difficult to manage?  The players are not difficult to manage. They are not stubborn players - they are well behaved players."
"What we don't understand about football players is that, they are like women; if you promise a lady and you don't do it, she becomes angry. Football players are about their dime - just give them their dime and everything will go well.’’
