Ihedioha to Araraume, Anyanwu, others: file your appeal, quit name-calling

Ihedioha to Araraume, Anyanwu, others: file your appeal, quit name-calling
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Imo State governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Emeka Ihedioha has called on some governorship aspirants under the PDP, who petitioned against the outcome of the delegate election in the state, accusing him electoral malpractices to quit casting aspersions on him and appeal the outcome of the congress if they feel dissatisfied. Continue after the cut...

Ihedioha’s response followed insinuations contained in the petition signed by Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, Senator Chris Anyanwu, Chief Bethel Amadi, Chief Charles Onuoha, Chief Brighty Nwanne, Chief Charles Amanze , Prof. Jude Njoku and  some senatorial and House of Representatives aspirants, who alleged that the congress was skewed to favour Ihedioha.
The Deputy Speaker, who reacted through the Director General of his Campaign Organisation, Chief Chris Okewulonu, said: “The allegation of manipulating the election to favour the Deputy Speaker is not only wicked, diversionary and unsportsmanlike, but an attempt to discredit the integrity of the Peoples Democratic Party who ensured compliance with party rules. It will therefore not be wrong to say that the allegations of bias against the party are ill-conceived and perhaps designed to portray our great party before Nigerians as one lacking in capacity to manage her affairs.”
