A 40-year-old man has been arrested for impregnating a mentally retarded girl.
For his inability to control his sexual lust, a 40-year-old man in Jigawa State, Abdullhamid Abbas, has been arrested forimpregnating a 16-year-old mentally retarded girl.
Abbas's cup was filled when operatives of the Jigawa State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC, nabbed him after the girl was delivered of a a set of twins in her parent's house and fingered him for being responsible.
He was invited by the parents of the girl to confirm if he was responsible for the pregnancy of the girl and when he refused to accept that he actually put her in the family way, he was handed over to the NSCDC for further interrogation.
Abdulhamid, who lives at Mijirgan village of Miga local government area of Jigawa State, according to the Commandant of the agency in the state, Gidado Muhammad, is still yet to admit committing the crime, but the agency is close to solving the riddle.
Gidado Muhammad further disclosed that the case was currently under investigation, adding the accused person would, thereafter be arraigned for prosecution.
