Okorocha commissions new administrative complex for NSCDC

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State Thursday commissioned the modern administrative complex of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), which his administration built for the state command of the corps with a call to governments at all levels to pay maximum attention to various military and paramilitary agencies across the country.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony in Owerri, Okorocha said the police, military, civil defence and others would not solve the increasing security challenges in the country if their condition of service is not improved.
The governor, who lamented the wanton killings of innocent Nigerians by the Boko Haram sect as well as the increasing criminality in the country, stressed the need for the Federal Government to give more attention to security agencies  and equip them for the growing challenges.
