A man's anger has sent his young wife to the great beyond
On the 30th of October, a wicked husband, Corporal Lucky Ikharia, deliberately ran his bus over his wife over an allegation of a stolen N2,000. The lady who has been battling for her life in the hospital is now dead.
The 30-year-old woman, Dupe Ikharia, whose police officer husband, Corporal Lucky Ikharia, ran over with his commercial bus, crushing her legs in the process for allegedly taking her husband's N2,000, has lost her battle to survive as the family has confirmed that she is dead. Continue after the cut...

The incident which happened on October 30, 2014, had led to a lot of condemnation for the Edo State born officer who also stabbed his one year old son to death, with many calling for justice to be served and seen to be carried out.
The poor lady, according to her family, died at about 6.30pm on Friday, November 7, after her condition worsened at a traditional orthopedic hospital in Mushin, Lagos.
Dupe’s condition, it was learnt, continued to worsen and on Thursday morning, she was said to have fainted. At the hospital, a nurse who did not want her name in print, confided that her spinal cord and one of the bones around her neck were also affected by the incident, and had worsened her case.
Confirming her death, Dupe’s elder brother, Mr. Segun Akiode, said the family had earlier gone to the office of the state Commissioner of Police, Cornelius Aderanti, on Friday afternoon to submit a petition.
He said:

She has died. She passed on at about 6.30pm. That is where I am now. We went to the CP’s office in the afternoon, and he responded to us very well. He directed us to meet with an officer at the appropriate quarters. Unfortunately, Dupe is dead now, and the whole family is in sorrow.
Akiode added that when the family, however, went to the SCID in Yaba, they were told that Lucky was not in their custody.

When we went to the SCID on Saturday, they told us that they did not have any suspect by that name. I still do not know the whereabouts of the man. Meanwhile, we have taken Dupe's corpse to the morgue in Yaba.
