Three sisters gave birth on the same day in the same hospital

For Mairead Fitzpatrick, Joeline Godfrey and Bernie Ward they just got the greatest gift of all.

The three siblings gave birth on the same day in the same hospital, Mayo General Hospital in Ireland on Tuesday.

Ms FitzPatrick was the first to give birth, to a boy named Thomas Óg. Followed by that of Ms Godfrey who gave birth to a girl named Sorcha and then Ms Ward was last to give birth to a boy, named Phelim.

Another of their sister Christina Murray wished she also gave birth on the same day just like her three siblings.

According to a staff at the hospital all three babies arrived healthy and well.
