The newly sworn in Governor of Adamawa State, Bala James Ngilari has reportedly dissolved the State Executive Council and sacked all political appointees in the state
Newly sworn-in Governor of Adamawa State, Bala Ngilari has already begun a major shakeup as he has reportedly dissolved the State Executive Council and sacked all political appointees in the state with immediate effect.
The dissolution and the mass sack was announced by the governor yesterday, October 9, barely 24 hours after he assumed office. More after the cut...
Ngilari, who was sworn in on Wednesday, October 8 has also appointed Mr. Chubado Tijjani as his Chief of Staff.
All officials who were relieved of their duties were asked to hand over to their permanent secretaries and return all government property in their possession.
Ngilari served as deputy to former Governor, Murtala Nyako and was ousted after the governor was impeached and he supposedly resigned.
