Super Eagles interim coach, Stephen Keshi announced Abuja as the camp base for the team as they prepare to face Sudan in a double-legged AFCON qualifier
Interim coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has officially declared October 5 as the date for players camping for the double legged AFCON qualifiers against Sudan in October
Stephen Keshi said the date was picked after consulting with the NFF and the technical committee, while also considering logistics for the invited players
The Big boss disclosed that camp opens on October 5, with training starting fully on Monday, October 6. More after the cut...
“The camp will re-open by Sunday in Abuja (at the Bolton White Apartments). The training activities will resume on Monday. All the players are expected to arrive in earnest and training will begin without delay,” 52 year-old Keshi told Radio Nigeria
Nigeria host Sudan first before travelling to the North-eastern part of Africa to face the Oil-rich Sudanese
The 2013 African Champions are faced with the do-or-die task of beating Falcons of Sudan in the two ties if they are contest for a place in nexy year’s tournament against Congo who top group with six points and South Africa, second with four points.
