Ebola-infected Liberian, Thomas Eric Duncan has died after becoming the first case of the disease to be diagnosed in the United States.

Reuters reports that a spokesperson for the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital has confirmed the Liberian's death.
Duncan was diagnosed with Ebola on September 30 after arriving Dallas, Texas on September 20. He was said to have entered into critical condition on October 4 before passing on today.
The deceased initially went to the hospital when he became symptomatic but was sent away with just antibiotics despite stating that he had been to disease-ravaged Liberia.
Duncan is the first person to die of Ebola in the US.
