The World Health Organization has said that the Ebola outbreak has claimed 4493 lives and shows no signs of slowing down
The number of people who have died from the current Ebola outbreak has now reached 4,493, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday, October 15.
The international body has also raised an alarm saying that the situation in GuineaLiberia and Sierra Leone is getting worse. Continue after the cut...

A total of 8,997 cases of the diseases, including confirmed, probable and suspected cases, had also been reported as of Sunday, October 12.
The WHO report reads:
"It is clear...that the situation in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone is deteriorating, with widespread and persistent transmission of (Ebola),"
