FIFA Warns Nigeria Again

Following the election of a new president of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, the world football governing body, FIFA, has warned Nigerian football authorities that it  will not hesitate to wield the big stick against the country should any of the processes already gone through be tampered with again.
Only on Tuesday, 30 September, 2014, the chairman of Delta State Football Association, Amaju Pinnick was elected new NFF president in Warri Delta State. Continue after the cut... 

Acknowledging the election of Pinnick as new NFF boss, FIFA, in a letter dated 2nd October, 2014 and signed by FIFA Secretary General, Jerome Valcke, commended Musa Amadu (NFF scribe) and the NFF Executive Committee on what has been done, in line with the world body’s directives.
“We would like to congratulate the members of the new board on their election and are confident they are committed to continuing the development of football in Nigeria,” the FIFA letter read.
