The World Health Organization is reportedly making plans to declare Nigeria and Senegal Ebola-free.
The World Health Organization (WHO) is likely to officially declare Nigeria Ebola-free later this week, Daily Mail reports.
The standard period for declaring an outbreak over is 42 days and upon attainment of this, Nigeria and Senegal will be officially recognized as being free of the disease.
Both countries were lauded for their efforts in combating the disease after an earlier announcement that they had basically contained it.
