Imo 2015: I will reclaim my mandate – Araraume

Imo 2015: I will reclaim my mandate – Araraume
Senator Ifeanyi Araraume Monday returned to a rousing welcome after leaving the state for more than two weeks following the controversial outcome of the December 8, governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State.

Crowd of supporters and PDP loyalists thronged his convoy from the Imo Airport through the streets of Owerri, the Imo State capital to his campaign office along Onitsha Road, Owerri.
In a brief stop-over along the ever-busy Douglas Road, Araraume addressed traders, commuters and passers-by recalling the circumstances that led to his trip outside the state.

Araraume, who told his listeners that he was the actual winner of the December 8, 2014 governorship primaries, maintained that he bagged 336 votes while Chief Emeka Ihedioha garnered 325 votes noting that the incident of over-voting that was recorded was as a result of the efforts made to manipulate and compromise the genuine result of the primaries.

We find it hard to accept defeat. We all do.
We find it hard to accept our failures and weaknesses. We all do.

But in those acceptance lies our growth and glorious triumph tomorrow.
Fight injustice where it exist, explain your actions where you have to, beyond reasonable doubt, be humble to accept defeat
