A 55-year-old man, Mikael Shane Pruett, who repeatedly rapedwith his 11-year-old granddaughter and getting her pregnant in the process, has been sentenced to 200 years in prison for his crime.
The sex predator also sexually assaulted the victim's 9-year-old younger sister regularly.
Pruett of Stevensville, Montana, USA, was the guardian to both girls when he raped them. The District Judge, Jeffrey Langton handed down a sentence of 100 years each for the two counts of incest. Continue...
The grandfather was arrested after the 11-year-old girl was found to be 32 weeks pregnant and upon questioning, she admitted that her grandfather had been sleeping with her and her sister.
According to the Examiner reports, the girl was taken to a doctor after suffering from cramps. She did not know she was pregnant until she was informed by a doctor because she did not know what it felt like to be pregnant.
The girl's 9-year-old sister corroborated her story that their grandad raped them regularly when she told the police that she watched her sister being raped by her grandfather through a 'peeking hole.'
Pruett was sentenced under Jessica's Law on 21 January, 2015, to two 100 year sentences, to run consecutively. The meaning of the law is that Pruett will serve one 100 year sentence, and if still alive, will begin to serve the second.
