Barely a day before end of their tenure, Nigerian senators on Wednesday passed 46 bills within 10 minutes at a sitting.
The bills had recently been passed by the House of Representatives and transmitted to the Senate for concurrence.
Passing the bills which stood in the name of the chairman, Senate Business and Rules Committee, Sen Ita Enang, the Senate suspended Order 79(1) of its Standing Orders, which allowed it to suspend regular procedures.
