The reign of terror unleashed by Boko Haram in Adamawa has continued as two communities in the state have been attacked by insurgents.
At least 500 houses were destroyed in Kubi and Watu in the Michika Local Government Area of the state, Vanguard reports.
The terrorists were also said to have carried out the attack undisturbed due to the absence of military personnel. Continue after the cut...

A source reportedly said:
“Since the complete take-over of Michika and Madagali by the insurgents on the 7th of September 2014, no single soldier is noticed in Michika Community. The only thing we hear is Jet fighters that come from Yola to drop bombs and go back. Our people are in the state of complete helplessness.”
Government seems not to be coming to our aids as the insurgents control everything in our local government”
Residents of the affected villages were said to have stated that they had been abandoned by the elite in the state while calling on the government to send troops to deliver them from further attack.
