Nigerian Coach Stephen Keshi Should Stop Experimenting With Serious Matches - Praiz

Tuesday, September 30, 2014Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is advised not to experiment with competitive matches whilst offering chances to new players

After the poor result from the two games played so far by the Super Eagles, coach Stephen is admonished to maintain a tested and trusted team to ensure that Nigeria qualifies for the 2015 African Nations Cup
Keshi could be named Nigeria’s coach for the second time, he has led Nigeria to two Nations Cup qualifiers already and none with a win… what do you think of his position and role with the Super Eagles?
We saw at the last two qualifiers that Keshi has been experimenting; some of the players fielded were are new to the team, however, he should not experiment with qualification matches, knowing that champions do not get automatic qualification slot. Continue after the cut...

It is dicey, experimenting with the team in competitive games is risky
Many Nigerians wanted out after the games against Congo and South Africa… what do you say, should he stay or should he go?
I would not expressly say he should go or stay
He won the nations cup, so he knows what he’s doing. It’s just for him to use players that are tested and trusted
Nonetheless, the failed experimentations do not necessarily mean that he should not give chances to new players. But the team should have core players that it centres its football around
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi on Friday released names of players to face Sudan in October's AFCON qualifier with some names, but most notably, his refusal to include Obafemi Martins and Ike Uche in the list
