Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has scored a landslide victory with 1,956 (just under 60%) to 1,379 votes for the runner up – Hon. Isa Ashiru in the just declared result; whilst the remaining three aspirants had less than 200 combined votes!
Shamsudeen Ango Abdullahi polled 24 votes, while Haruna Saheed got 118 votes with Salihu Lukmon garnering 18 votes.
With this result, Nasir Ahmed Elrufai will now officially contest as the APC gubernatorial flag bearer in the February 2015 general election.
