Double Tragedy: Ghanaian pastor commits suicide days after wife’s death

Pastor Kwabena Bonsu of the Foursquare Gospel ChurchGhana Life Cathedral took his life on the evening of Saturday, December 13 exactly one week after losing his wife to death.
According to reports in Ghana, Pastor Kwabena Bonsu who is in his late thirties hung himself in his single room apartment at Kosoa Chinese near Tuba junction in Accra.
Pastor Bonsu was found dead around 6pm on that day when someone he apparently bought something from was returning his change. He used a sponge joined to a rope to commit suicide. Continue...

In a suicide note found after his death, Pastor blamed his suicide at a former roommate known as Esther.
“I Love My wife. Esther killed us. Why Esther? No Peace For You” the suicide note supposedly written by the deceased reads.
It was later gathered that a certain Esther used to live with the deceased couple in the single room but had to leave the place over financial disagreement.
Ghanaian media are reporting that according to sources, the deceased couple owed Esther some reasonable amount of money.
Days after Esther left the couple’s apartment; Pastor Kwabena Bonsu’s wife started complaining of stomach ache and later died from it. The wife was a beautician (hair dresser) before her death.
They were survived by a six-month old baby.
Police are still investigation the deaths and looking for the Esther mentioned in Pastor Kwabena Bonsu’s suicide note.

I think those who pastor others need to know that the too need to be pastored. They need to find that one person to pour their heart to when the going gets tough.
