Pictured above is the x-ray of a 48 year old Nigerian, Matthew Atueyi (right) who was jailed 3 years today December. 5, after he was arrested on Aug 2, trying to smuggle 80 packages of cocaine worth £387,400 into UK. Atuenyi who claims to be a businessman based in Onitsha was stopped by a UK Border Force officer when he arrived in Edinburgh after travelling via Paris from Port Harcourt. When searched, a £2000 in cash was found with him that he claims will be used for buying clothes for his boutique.
He tested positive for cocaine after a urine test was conducted on him. He was then taken to St John’s Hospital, Livingston, where he was x-rayed and it was discovered there were multiple packages inside him.
