Sir Elton John Singer set to marry boyfriend David Furnish in intimate ceremony

Sir Elton John is planning an intimate wedding to boyfriend of nine years David Furnish as Britain sets to finally legalize gay marriage.
The couple were among Britain's first same-sex couples to tie the knot when civil partnerships were granted on December 21, 2005.
As their nine-year anniversary approaches, the couple are reportedly planning to mark the occasion by converting their partnership into marriage, months after it become legal in the UK. Continue after the cut...

According to the Daily Mirror, Elton, 67, and David, 52, are planning a 'small and intimate ceremony', set for December 21 at their sprawling estate in Windsor, Berkshire.
The site claims the couple are said to have invited just 50 of their friends and family - including the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Hurley and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. Anything outside that, you can call it whatever you wish, but certainly it is not a marriage.
